ipad gen 4 will not update to ios11

shows ios3.3 as no update available.

iOS 10 is the end of the line for the iPad 4th generation.

It's not upgradeable to iOS 11.

Because it has an Apple A6 processor, the last 32-bit processor. The devices with A7 or newer are all 64-bit. iOS 11 is a full 64-bit system, so it cannot run on the iPad 4 or earlier iPads.

Not according to apples support site. It states that fourth-generation iPad is compatible. I selected verify compatibility on my iPad and he confirmed that it is compatible with iOS 11.  So what's the deal here?

IPad 4th generation is NOT eligible for iOS 11.

It's a 32 bit hardware iDevice.

iOS 11, an ALL 64 bit OS, ends all support for older 32 bit hardware iDevices
