USB3 Drive through USB/Thunderbolt adapter conn...
I would like to extend my HD capacity on my iMac. I find the external TB HD's rather expensive and though about using a USB/Thunderbolt adapter to which I can connect a 7200rpm USB3 disk.
What I would like to understand:
Will the transfer/response results be the same as if I would connect a TB external (7200rpm) harddisk?
Will the transfer/response results be the same as the internal harddisk of the iMac
My iMac has a Thunderbolt 1 port
Many thanks,
Patrick
