New iTunes 12.7.0.166 no longer shows apps

I just updated to iTunes 12.7.0.166 and apps are no longer visible.  Could someone explain to me the reasoning of this? Because I use iTunes for multiple family member devices, this was a central way of organizing all of the apps across multiple devices.  Before I go on a public tirade about Apple, please explain.
