Recovering deleted files from iCloud

I accidentally deleted some pages files last night on my MacBook Air. This morning, when I noticed the missing files, I went to the iCloud website (on the same MacBook) and recovered the files. I could not find the files, however, anywhere in my Mac computer or my iCloud Drive account from the web. I believe they did transfer because I saw the loading icon by the iCloud Drive in Finder. Still, I can't find them anywhere. Any ideas on where they went?

You can also check here. Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J.  When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder.  Select Library/Mobile Document.
