how do i delete photos (not in camera roll fold...

i copied some of my photos from pc to ipad,now when i try to delete, there's no delete icon appear. 

Only photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad. Photos that were synced from your computer are deleted by moving/removing/de-selecting them from where they were synced from on your computer and then re-syncing

Photos copied from a computer during a sun are deleted the same way. Start iTunes on the computer, connect your iPad, select the iPad in the left column of iTunes and select Photos in the right column. Ten deselect those albums you no longer want on the iPad. Ten click on Apply or Sync.

If there are individual photos within an album that you no longer want move these out of the album or folder they are in on your computer before you sync.

Photos synced to the iPad from a computer can also be deleted from the Settings/General/Usage/Photos & Camera then swipe sideways on Photo Library to reveal the Delete button. This would be a temporary solution to free some space up when needed. Once you connect the iPad to the computer it syncs with and the space is freed up again it will sync the Photos back again. You with still have to change the iTunes Sync settings to permanently remove them from  the iPad.

The same functionality is built into the Music and Video categories to temporarily free up space without effecting the sync settings. So if you are away from your computer and need the extra space, for a movie for example, you can mass delete some items to use that space.

Swiping sideways does not work.  All I can get it to do it go back one window.
