find the original os my mac had on it

My Mac Book Pro currently is running OSX Sierra, but that is not the original OS that was on it when I purchased it.  I can't remember which OS it had on it in the very beginning.  Is there any data that Apple.com has that will tell what the OS was when I bought the Mac Book Pro ?
