Slow wifi on Macbook pro 13 inch 2017 model

So recently I bought a new Macbook Pro 13 inch 2017 model with touchbar.

After a few days using it I noticed that the wifi connection was pretty slow (10-30 mb) on a 5GHz connection about 60 cm away from the device.

After some testing and resetting the router etc I went to the couch to test there --> Speeds as they should be (170+ mb). I went back to my desk and tested again --> Speeds as they should be.

BUT when I plug in my charger the speed drops back to 10-30mb. If I immedietly unplug the charger and run the test again the speed is back normal.

The only thing I haven't tested is to put the charger on the other side of the device since I'm not sure if those ports are for charging.

TL;DR: Slow wifi speed when plugged in, when I unplug my charger the speeds go up to normal speed.

How do I fix this? Thanks in advance

You have 90 days of free phone support, a one year hardware warranty, and 14 days from date of sale to return the MBP. I would contact Apple to determine if this is a hardware issue, and if so, return it if possible, otherwise have it repaired.
