Suddenly my iPad Air will no longer text back and forth with contacts that do not use iPhone. the iPad is related to my iPhone...which will text with android and google phones with no issue. The texts even show up on the iPad once they are sent.  But suddenly the iPad will no longer Send to non-Apple phones.  The contact name goes red and the iPad tells me that number "is not registered with iMessage". I have not intentionally changed any settings. Does anyone know what might be causing this and how to fix it?
