How do I add an additional device to my icloud?

I am trying to add an additional device to my icloud.  I see how to delete devices, but not where to add one.

On the iOS or macOS device, simply login to iCloud.

Won't let you how? Do you have an iCloud Preference Pane?Do you get an error message? What does happen? And what operating system are you using? We can't attempt to help unless you give us enough information to go on.

Connection Problems

I have same

problem, but system is IOX  MacBook Pro. I forgot about it and removed it and now need to add it back
