Songs information get changed automatically

Hi everyone,

I've had this issue for a while, and haven't found much about it online...

I have this pretty large music library I tried to transfer from my iMac to my Macbook Pro. Whether it's on the iMac or the Macbook, it seems that some tracks get their name (artist or track) modified automatically. I don't understand how this happens.

Names don't change as long as I browse through the finder. If I open them on iTunes or a DJing software such as Serato, their "new" name appears....

I guess it has something to do with some kind of metadata sync : when I type the modified name into Spotlight, I finds the song directly.

I don't at which stage and how this sync thing happens though.. I'm on Sierra on both machines.

Has any of you been trough this already ?
