MacBook Air has Flashing folder with question m...

So I was given a MacBook Air and searched how to reset to factory. So I restarted the MacBook  and held control button and r. Then deleted everything on the hard drive. So during rebooting it failed. I restarted my computer and now I have a flashing folder with a question mark in the middle. Help please!

The flashing question mark folder means the Mac cannot find a valid system to start from. If you deleted everything on the hard drive, then you need to install a new system. Follow the steps in this Apple Support Topic:
