How can I assign MIDI CC 11 to a fader or knob ...

How can I assign MIDI CC 11 to a fader or knob on my control surface? I assume it would have to be done in MIDI Draw unless there's some way to assign a knob to the pencil tool in the Step Editor (I don't suppose that can be done, can it?).

 

I'm using an Alesis Photon 25 keyboard controller and a Behringer BCR2000 (the one with knobs, not faders) but if someone could help me find the secret in Logic, the. control surface I use won't even matter.
