Haptic stopped working after OS 4 update

As the title states after the latest update of both iPhone and Watch OS my haptic on my series 2 watch ( which is only a couple of months old) stopped working.  I have tried most if not all methods I have found on these boards and other sources to get it to work. Listed below is what I have tried so far

• Went into settings checked the Haptic strength on both phone and watch.
• Checked Do not Disturbed options
• Turned both phone and watch off after closing out of all apps
• Turned WIFI and Bluetooth off shut of phone and on then reset the watch not once but three times. Once with back up , another with just install apps, and the last time just as a basic set up just incase there was a conflict with an app. Which I am still not ruling out on the phone side.

Is there anything I missed doing or is this a bug with the latest update ?

Systems I am running are

iPhone 6S with IOS 11

Watch Series 2 with OS 4

Any help would be much appreciated.
