Why won’t my music app open?

I have a phone 6s plus. I’ve had the iOS 11 update for  over a week now. I have Apple Music, and I was downloading music when all of a sudden the app just closed out. I tried to open it several times and it wouldn’t open so I shut the phone off. I tried again when the phone came back on, and it pulled up a white screen. It stayed like that for about a minute or so then closed out of the app again. I’ve restarted my phone several times but it still won’t work. What do I do?
