iPod touch 5th gen disabled & iTunes requir...

On my iPod touch 5th gen, I get, "iPod is disabled connect to iTunes"

iTunes says, "iTunes could not connect to the iPod touch "xxx" because it is locked with a passcode.  You must enter your passcode on the iPod touch before it can be used with iTunes."

I had changed the passcode earlier in the day, then completely forgot it.

My Home button has not worked for over 2 years and I do use the Assistive Touch for it.

I have used iTunes to backup my iPod Touch.

I DO NOT have any money and will not have for several months.  So, how can I fix this quickly?  I need to get into it since I use it much more often than a computer.

Please help me!
