iPad does not have enough memory to store library 

This is NOT the way to add iTunes content to an iDevice.

You must connect your iDevice to a computer running the latest iTunes and sync content to your iDevice.

If you do not have enough room on your iDevice for all of your iTunes content on your computer, then you need to purchase a larger storage iPad, or, if possible,  make more room on your iDevice by deleting content you no longer need to add the iTunes content OR selectively sync a percentage of your total iTunes library.
