Screen cracked!

I was in the kitchen Sunday morning preparing dinners and washing etc and when I went to leave the house I noticed my watch screen was cracked all the way around. I was only doing light duties and dont recall the watch catching on anything. Apple say it's my fault but surely the screen is not fit for purpose if it damaged when under normal duties? They did say it could be the battery expanding but have decided this is not the case. I'm adamant I did NOT crack the screen. I'm speaking to them tomorrow- how do you think I will fare in an argument to get them to replace it for free?!
