Devices won’t recognise iTunes purchase

I purchased a TV show season from my iPhone yesterday. Tonight, I tried to watch it on my AppleTV, but it would not recognise that I had purchased the season and asked me to buy it again.

 

I assumed if I logged out of my account, rebooted the AppleTV, and logged back in, that would solve all of my problems. However, it is still unavailable. All of my other purchases are, however.

 

I tried to stream it to my phone and then AirPlay it, but that ended with my phone just sitting on “Loading.” Finally, I found that if I downloaded it to my phone and THEN AirPlayed it to the AppleTV, it worked.

 

Obviously I just want to use my devices the way they’re supposed to work, though. Any thoughts?



Update.

 

Now the episodes of the season aren’t showing up on my device at all. So the only way I’d even know I’d purchased them is because of the receipt I have in my inbox.
