Does anyone know why I can’t update IPad ...

I’m having trouble updating my iPad Air 2 to iOS 11. When I go onto the software update in settings it comes up saying the iPad is up to date to the last update and it won’t let me update it to iOS 11. I haven’t had any trouble updating my iPhone 7 Plus or even an older iPad Air, I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is any solutions.
