Music from Mac not syncing onto iPhone 6s Plus

I am a dance coach and needed to download (illegally) music to cut for my dances. Once I got it onto my Mac, in about 2 days it would have synced onto my iPhone and it was ok. This was ok until I downloaded IOS 11 (I haven't downloaded the new IOS update). I have downloaded 2 albums that I need on my phone and it won't sync. Is there anything I can do? I have made sure that the settings on my phone are on for 'automatic downloads for music'.
