cant pair iwatch series 1 to new iphone

Hi, i sold my iwatch to a friend since my iphone was broken and it is for replacement already. I reset the iwatch to remove all the files, checked my icloud to see if its paired but its now showing on my icloud, and there is no way I can unpair it to my iphone since its broken. My friend cannot pair the i watch to her iphone. There is a notification showing on her iphone says that "a pasword is required to activate this device because its owner has used find my iphone to link it to their apple id. if this is your device, enter the apple id and password you used to set up icloud. if you were given this device or 2nd hand, you will need the original owner to have them removed"

bu t i checked it on my icloud and its not showing as my paired device

If you have already followed the steps here to remove Activation Lock (which your questions appears to indicate is the case):

 

 

Then it may help if the buyer follows these steps: 

 

  • On their iPhone: close the Watch app (double-press on the Home button, then swipe up on the Watch app preview).

 

 

 

If the Apple Watch then remains locked by Activation Lock, then:  

 

  • Either accompany the buyer and the Apple Watch to a Genius Bar appointment, taking along your original proof of purchase for the watch.

 

 

Note that you should not disclose your Apple ID and password to the buyer, even if you change your password again afterwards:
