HFS+ RAID to APFS RAID

Hi,

I have a Mac Pro 2010 with an HFS+ RAID 1.

I watched the WWDC17 talk about APFS. They said, that it will be possible to manually convert HFS+ volumes to APFS. Unfortunately they didn't say a word about RAIDs.

I also read, that it will be possible to use APFS with Apple RAID here in the FAQ: https://developer.apple.com/library/content/documentation/FileManagement/Concept ual/APFS_Guide/FAQ/FAQ.html

I'm wondering if it will be possible to convert a HFS+ RAID into a APFS RAID Volume like any other HFS+ volume.

What I mean is on-the-fly like conversion like with normal HFS+ volumes and no data loss or the necessity to save the data somewhere else, convert and copy it back to the original disks.

Does anyone know something about this?

Thanks in advance

Ben

Well... I haven't had luck with it yet. I was able to delete my hfs+ RAID0 and make a apfs RAID0 with diskutil in terminal  and the drive was functional... but when I cloned my high sierra usb2 external drive to my new apfs RAID it didn't want to boot. Complaining of a bless boot error. I DON'T recommend anybody try this route... Destroying the apfs raid was a HUGE pain.
