Pandora Premium Subscription Plan Phishing Scam

I recently received what I believe to be a Pandora phishing scam in the form of an email informing me that I had signed up for a "Pandora Premium Subscription Plan" paid for through my iTunes account.  Some information follows.

There was an I.D. #  [I.D.346532-7432]

The charge for 3 months was $97.99

Listed as being something called Pandora Media

Method:  R-Pay

If anyone knows how to get a phone number to actually speak to a human being at Apple iTunes and/or Pandora about this, I would appreciate it if you would send it over to me or post it here.

I have never signed up for any such plan via Pandora. I only have their free service.

Apple Care is 800-APL-CARE they can either check it or transfer you to the iTunes people. Does the email look legit and is it from noreply@apple.com or other @apple.com email?

It's probably faster to check for yourself.

You should check your subscriptions here:

View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support

You should also check charges on your credit card. Most cards allow you to check in near real time on their app or on the website.

If you don't see charges on either your iTunes account or on your credit card, you can be fairly certain that what you have is one of the increasingly common phishing emails. They don't come from Apple or Pandora. They are a scam that tries to get you to click on a link and provide personal information.
