Redirecting Home folders to OneDrive

Hello there,

I have just made the great leap from a life of Windows to Mac by purchasing a Mac Mini which will be delivered in the next few days. I am an IT professional, but not on Macs...

On my Windows PC I use Microsoft OneDrive not just as cloud storage, but have Documents, Pictures etc on the PC redirected to their counterparts within the OneDrive directory. This enables me to save a picture in the 'default' Pictures directory, but it then is synced to OneDrive (and then downloaded onto my laptop in the same manner etc).

My question therefore is, is it possible to redirect the default Mac OS X home folders into the OneDrive directory (once the app has been downloaded and installed obviously), to do the same job - so I click on Pictures and I am actually seeing OneDrive's directory, not the default location?

If anyone needs more clarification to form an answer, I will be happy to oblige, and many thanks in advance.

P.S. I understand about iCloud Drive, but I have an Office 365 subscription and unlimited storage with OneDrive and would love to utilise it in the same way if possible.

WKirkman, did you ever get an answer to this question?
