iPad Pro keeps crashing

I've had this device (new; 9.7 inch) for several months now and have had few problems. This morning, after booting it up (and rebooting), it crashes when I open my email and safari and just now, youtube; it comes up for a few seconds, then crashes.

My iPhone 6 did crash once or twice, but after that has worked fine... so far.

Any ideas about what's wrong with it?
