Usage versus stand

After fully charging my wife's Apple watch and just leaving it on the table after a while her usage minutes are just as high as the standby minutes. With my identical Apple watch (next to it), my usage minutes are much lower than the standby minutes. So my wife's Apple watch is "used" but she did not use it !? Someone an idea what the problem might be?
