Why is my new MacBook Pro taking so long in set...

I just bought a new MacBook Pro, but it has been on "Setting up Your Mac" for over 24 hours.

Should it take this long?

No. There is a problem. I suggest you shut down the computer and start again. If you still have a problem then return it to your place of purchase.
