Why don't my Apps and iBooks show up? Besides deleting the newest software update and reinstalling an older version what can I do to manage my iBooks and Apps?

Apple has removed that feature from the latest version of iTunes. You can manage your apps directly on the iOS devices. I haven't had a chance to use the new version. However, I believe you now manage books in iBooks.

It helps but is unclear about whether or not to upgrade before High Sierra is released. I don't see an upgrade option in my current iTunes app, only on the Apple website.
