disable or uninstall a previously approved app ...

Hi,

I would like to know if I am able to disable or uninstall a previously approved app from my child's iPod.

Scenario

- I don't live with my daughter.  Her mother is a little, how shall we say, 'tech-not-interested' so the control of the iPod falls on me.

- I have set up restrictions on my child's device so she cannot install apps without the ask to buy request coming to me first for approval.

- I approved an app for my child but I don't want it installed on her device anymore.

What is the best way to prohibit her using this app?

Erasing it from her iPod is the obvious answer, but given I have approved the app, will she automatically be able to install it again?

Erase her device?

- If I erased her device would all the previously approved apps be still available after rebuild?

I have access to her iTunes account and wondering if I am able to delete them from there.

I tried a couple of the parental control apps in the AppStore but they all seem to be able to be uninstalled from the child.

Thanks for any feedback.

I can answer part of this...yes once approved even after uninstalled it can be reinstalled without another approval needed.  Even if u wipe the device it is associated with the Apple ID not the device.  Only if you started a new Apple ID could you remove it completely.  I have same issue and if I allow App Store she can continue to reinstall it.  Another way Apple removes the flexibility and control in order to keep people (kids) completely addicted and on their devices.  This one isn't a big ask, I just want to unapprove an app.  Come on Apple!
