"Phantom" Alarm Clock

Since I've updated my iPad to 10.0 (or whatever the update was that came out for the iPhone 7) I've been experiencing alarm clock issues. Now the issue is a "phantom alarm", my alarm clock will go off at various times without having an alarm set. I'm awake now because my alarm went off at 4:45am (on a Sunday morning). I have three alarms "programmed" right now 5:20am (weekdays- currently turned off), 5:50am (weekdays- currently turned off), and 10:33am (no repeat- currently set).

I've also had the alarm not go off when it was supposed to, but it shows that it has gone off.  If I "snooze" it, then it will actually work.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Thank you.

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, coyoteroy77.

If I understand correctly, your alarm clock is going off at various times that you have not actually set. I can certainly see how this could become a nuisance. You’re in the right place for a resolution.

First, remove the alarms you currently have set. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open up your Clock app.
  2. Select the Alarm tab.
  3. Select Edit in the upper left corner.
  4. Tap on the minus sign next to each alarm.
  5. Select Done.
After that, restart your iPhone: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Once your iPhone is restarted, add your alarms again and then give yourself some time to test it out. If the issue persists, go back to your Clock app and select the Bedtime tab. Disable Bedtime and test your iPhone out once more.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

Take care.

Yes I have a phantom alarm every day at 6:30 AM. I do not have any alarms set.
