iMac black screen after suddenly shutdown

i was working on my iMac and without any reason shutdown himself, was really hot, I try to turn on again but nothing happen, so I leave it cool down, after a few minutes I try again and I hear the chime sound, and my second monitor turn on, but the iMac screen is totally black, anybody knows why?
