Erase all content and settings

What happens with all photos and notes when i select erase all content and settings

What do you think happens when you choose to erase all content?

It will be erased from the device, of course...

After Erase All Content & Settings, your iPhone is like new fresh from the box.

So there's no way in recovering any of those ?

Did you have the information backed up or synced to the cloud? If so, then restore it from your backup. If not, the data is gone.

I thought it had been backed up, but I guess not.
