13" MacBook Pro broken USB Ports?
Hi folks, unfortunately, the USB ports on the 13" MacBook Pro I've just bought are broken, tried all the SMC NVA RAM reset stuff even tried upgrading the OS to Sierra.
I didn't know this before buying and this guy's unlikely to give me a refund.
Otherwise, it's a fully functional MacBook, I bought this for uni and I desperately need working USB ports
to plug in my Midi Keyboard and USB Mixing desk as I'm studying music.
I thought maybe I could plug in a USB multiport powered by Thunderbolt but the ones I can find are like stupidly expensive. I can't afford that. And I've no guarantees that the Thunderbolt port works either or if it's part of the same board as the USB's, literally any input would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks, Ryan.
I suggest you take it in to an Apple store for diagnosis (you have already done the resets I would have suggested).
Barry
