How to install OSX?

Hi,

so, I'm new with Apple, and I'm planning to by a Mac Pro 1.1 from eBay, which doesn't have OSX installed. So, is it possible to install OSX on it? If so, can someone tell me how (step by step)?

It really depends which OS you want to install on this Mac.

You insert a compatible Mac OS X install DVD or plug in a thumbdrive, restart with the Option key held down, click on it, and run the Installer.
