Remove "The Sun" from Apple News

How do I block the use of certain news sources from the News  in iOS?

In the UK many of the trending stories are from tabloid news papers such as The Sun and Daily Mail

These papers are at best sensationalist and at worst downright racist.

The Sun even shows naked pictures which I dont want my children to see.

The lead stories also tend to be vacuous celebrity based articles which I have no interest in.

How can I remove these sources from Apple News?

I'm with you.  I don't get the stupid 'Sun' on my phone but I can't delete the equally stupid 'Daily Mail'.  Following Allen's suggestions doesn't work because when I hit Edit it doesn't show up.  The drivel just sneaks in with all the other news sites.

This seems to have worked for me.

Go to the News App

Search for 'The Sun'

Under 'CHANNELS' select 'The Sun'

That should show the newspapers landing page.

Click the icon top right that is a heart with a line through it (Dislike)

When I refreshed my widgets screen, the Suns news stories have now disappeared.
