World Clock widget gone in Sierra
In El Capitan there was a neat World Clock Widget that could be configured in the Notification Center. It is now gone. What happened.
open Applications->Dashboard: click the + button, install Worldclock.
click Notifications in the menubar select today and add it.
Are you saying when you click on the "Edit" button at the bottom of the Notification Center World Clock is not listed in the right hand column to add?
When it is not in the Notifications list, you have to install it again. Then it will show up in the list in SystemPreferences->Notifications again.
open Applications->Dashboard: click the + button, install Worldclock.
click Notifications in the menubar select today and add it.
Thank you, Lexiepex.
That did it. Strangely in Dashboard I had five different World clocks installed. I added one, it appeared in the notifications center. Then I deleted the last one I had added but the ones I wanted are back in the notifications center.
Yes, all "standard" widgets disappeared when updating to Sierra. Luckily they are still there...
happy computing,
Lex
I have the same problem on Sierra OS. I am using a early 2011 MBP.
I don't have the option to add new clocks in System Preferences > Notifications and it is now missing from my Notification centre where previously it was there.
Currently I am using a work around by adding new clocks to my dashboard but would ideally like to have the widgets in the notification menu.
Can you help?
Do as I said above:
1. dashboard, click +, select worldclock, so that it is in your dashboard
2. now you open Notifications (menu bar, rightside, NOT in SystemPreferences), select the "today" tab, click the "edit" button at the bottom and add Worldclock.
success,
Lex
I tried this instruction and I added World Clock to my dashboard --- nevertheless, I still cannot add a clock to World Clock in my Notifications. Are there any other instructions to add a clock to my World Clock in Notifications?
System Preferences : Extensions.
I can't see any all of those options, what happened to my preferences???
