Volume way too loud when connected MacBook Pro ...

When connected to an LG UltraFine series monitor, the volume increase between the first bar and the second (and up) is too extreme. Volume increase should be much more gradual, like when playing through the internal speakers of the MacBook Pro itself. Going up beyond 5 bars is deafening and distorting. Anyone else recognize this?

Same problem here. The speakers jump up to 30% volume within the first 5% of the volume up key on my MacBook keyboard. A temporary solution I've been using is to hold Option and Shift while adjusting the volume to reach increments in-between steps. I hope a software update is pushed to the display for this issue; it's very annoying.

I have a similar issue. If my volume is usually at about 15-20% on the laptop, as soon as I connect the 4k display it automatically sets the volume to the max.

Yes!  Apple / LG please fix this!
