Is it possible to BACKUP Mac for the FIRST time...

Is it possible to BACKUP Mac for the FIRST time into TWO different Time Machine disks at once? The Time Machine disks have different names.

If so, does Time Machine do it in parallel (both at the same time) or sequentially (first one, then the other)?

Setup: iMac 27‑inch Retina 5K display with Apple SSD 2 TB (2,889 & 2,148 MB/sec read & write, respectively) backed up into two different Samsung Portable SSD T5 2TB disks (510 & 486 MB/sec read & write, respectively) via two Thunderbolt 3 ports (40 Gbps) on Mac and two USB 3.1 Generation 2 (10 Gbps) ports (one on each external SSD).

Final note: I want to use one external disk (Time Machine disk 1) always connected to Mac, for continuous automatic backups (I think Time Machine does it every two hours); and the other (Time Machine disk 2) usually disconnected from Mac, for manual backups once a month or so (at which time, I will turn OFF Time Machine while doing such manual backup on disk 2 only once every month or so, in case I do not notice when finished, preventing a new backup after two hours on such disk 2). I guess that is a good backup strategy.

Thanks.

If you have multiple disks set up, Time Machine alternates them with each backup, whether initial or incremental.
