changing user ID on Mac

Good evening sir,

I have been using several product of Apple such as iPhone and iPad.

and now I try to use Mac Air 11" belong to my husband.

here are some information of my husband Mac,

OS X Yosemite

Macbook Air 11" - early 2014

1.4 GHz Intel Core i5

4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Intel HD Graphics 5000 1536 MB

I want to change the user ID of the Mac, from My husband's ID with mine.

I have made my husband's user ID to be signed out, but the system preference need a password to turn "Find My Mac" off.

well, I have used the password of my husband's ID, to fulfil the request but it didn't work

I have been trying a thousand times and still didn't work

So what should I do now?

I need your help now.
