My computer is heating up a lot
My computer is heating up a lot. I searched on here and one suggestion was to "Look at the Activity Monitor to see if any program is using much CPU." Well the program using the most of everything is my Netgear. What do I do now? I can't get rid of Netgear...
Another rec was to download Istat Pro and check temperatures. But it's been discontinued. Is there a decent replacement?
Thanks for any help you can offer.
Have you tried resetting your SMC?: Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support
Could you maybe post a screenshot of your activity monitor? (please make sure any personal information is concealed)
