good afternoon. I ordered watch cellular. will they work in Russia?

Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) is not locked to any specific carrier and has a built-in eSIM that copies information from the iPhone's SIM card.

 

If buying Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) in another country, then you would need to buy a model that supports the relevant LTE and UMTS bands for your country and supported carrier.

 

There are three different regional versions of Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular), each supporting different LTE and UMTS bands, as detailed here:

 

 

The cellular features require a carrier plan for your iPhone that specifically includes support for Apple Watch. If your preferred carrier does not currently offer a suitable service plan, then you cannot currently use the cellular feature.

 

However, the Apple Watch can still be paired, set up and used for other features whilst skipping the steps to activate the cellular feature. The cellular feature can be enabled later, if and when you are using a compatible service plan on your iPhone.

 

Also keep in mind that warranty service may be restricted to the country in which Apple Watch is originally purchased:
