iTunes Account: Credit Discrepancy?

I know this isn't 100% related to iTunes, but this was the closest location to place it. So here i my problem.

So I wanted to make an in game purchase of $4.99. Unfortunately I only had $4.39 credit at the time, so I put my debit card in so I could charge the last few cents. It asked me if I wanted to continue my purchase of $4.99, and so I saw no problem and used my finger print ID to continue. Once I got back into the game, it told me there was an error processing it, and gave me another item that I did not even purchase. In the game, the item that it gave me, isn't even close to being worth $4.99. In game there are currently two major items selling for $4.99 and neither equate to what I actually received, confusing me as to what I actually received. Whether it was compensation for the purchase no going through or my first purchase, but again I did not receive my original goods. Although that complaint is for the developer of the game. The reason I tell you all this is because now on my phone, in the App Store and in the iTunes store, it tells me I have a credit of $0.00. Now if I go to the App Store and the iTunes store on my macbook pro, it now tells me I have $5.26 in credit. Which doesn't even make sense since I only had $4.39 to begin with and even the extra cents that it would have charged me for the in game purchase (of a whole $0.60) would not add up to $5.26 worth of credit. I know that I have to wait a little while and see if it goes through, but I just checked my bank account and the $.60 was charged to it. Now I am not sure how to view in game purchases to view if the purchase is still pending. Currently I can view purchases, but only of apps which is very in descriptive. Usually if I make a purchase it will email me, but recently I have not been getting those emails.

What should I do?? Since I can't even email the game developer without proof of purchase and I doubt that a snapshot of a charge of $0.62 will hold validity that I actually did purchase an item worth $4.99. If someone could help me and help me find how to view in game purchase that would be awesome. I have tried to do as Apple support instructs in their visual manual, but for me it just is not showing me the exact screen that it shows in the visual. I am not sure if I am not smart enough to figure it out, or if I just happen to be looking in the wrong place or what, but I would appreciate help please.
