If you are seeing an iTunes icon and cable then it's gone into recovery mode and needs to be connected to a computer's iTunes. If you don't have a computer does a family member or friend have one with iTunes on it, or is there an Apple Store or Authorised Repairer nearby that you could take it to ?

I unfortunately don't have access to any computer and nowhere near any apple dealerships. Do you think there's anything else I could do to reset or activate without a computer?
