Several issues with Sierra including SBBOD

Hello friends!

I know there have been many posts on this subject, but I am at my wit's end with these issues, so please forgive the repetition.

I have been experiencing problems since I installed Sierra. I've read a considerable number of posts regarding possible solutions. I've tried 'em all. I won't list them here; you know what they are. At this very moment, I'm getting the SBBOD anytime I switch to a different application. As I've gone through this ordeal, I've experienced several very strange occurrences:

I ran EtreCheck about an hour ago and came across a .plist file for a piece of software that I no longer use. Ilooked for the file: nowhere to be found.

Speaking of searching, I did both a Find File and a Spotlight search: no good. Then, I tried searches for anything containing .plist. Nothing. Weird? Here's weirder...

I ran a scan on my main drive, and it listed it as almost full! it also place a number of TV files I had as being contained in my Documents folder. So I copied them to one of my external drives, and deleted the originals. I wanted to view some today, and somehow they mysteriously vanished from the external drive!

I have little hair left, so I can't pull it out. If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, I'm gonna have to go back to El Capitan. And that bums me out...

Thank you for indulging me.

Since you have EtreCheck it would benefit you to post its report here so it can be evaluated.
