Can I transfer programs to a new MacBook?

I have an old 2008 MacBook. The screen backlight is broken and it is getting very slow and not compatible with anything anymore. I’m looking to upgrade to a new MacBook Pro, however I don’t want to lose my programs on my old computer. I have an adobe bundle including photoshop and illustrator that you can no longer buy (since adobe only has the month subscription anymore). I also have a Microsoft bundle and I would rather not buy a new one if I don’t have too. Is it possible to move those programs to a new computer? I no longer have the disks for either of these programs.
