How can i start using my ipad

My grandma just gifted me me an ipad which i used it before i restored it now i can’t use it as it requires the first icloud that was used after it’s purchase. Any idea please!!

Hi. That Apple ID still owns the iPad. This is a security feature, and cannot be defeated. See if you can change the password at appleid.apple.com, or see if your gran remembers it (might be something simple).

You may need to  go to apple store for help but you will need proof of purchase.
