At&t Grandfathered Data Plan With Series 3

I will admit I am too lazy to search here and see if this topic has already been discussed.  I've already put a couple hours of research into finding the answer, I apologize that I do not do the same here.  There has been some discussions floating around about AT&T forcing people out of grandfathered unlimited data plans in order to add a Apple Watch Series 3 with cellular to their account.  This is not true, you can use your old plan.  Now I will admit I have yet to do this personally, but from what I have read it is working for multiple users.  The biggest issue here is it requires calling AT&T(I read the number to use is 800-331-0500)  or you can go into a local store and get help.  You will not be able to set ups using the watch app without doing this first.  Your goal is to have AT&T add a wearable plan to your account without making changes to your existing plan.  This is completely possible despite what some reps are stating.  You have them add the wearable plan, give them the EID and IMEI for the watch and then you are set.  Complete the rest of the activation through the watch and app.  You might get some resistance, but it is very doable so just put your foot down.  I found this information on macrumors.com.  A gentleman named Dave006 seamed to have a very good handle on it.  The page, Series 3 questions - $10 month Unlimited ATT plan ok? | Page 4 | MacRumors Forums, has the full conversation, Dave enters in on page 4 conversation 5 and on.  I hope this brings some help and satisfaction to others.  DO NOT let AT&T bully us any more.
