How do I edit my card

I use a iPod touch on iOS 11.0.1 and I  wanted to edit my card in contacts. So I put in all the information and as soon as I finish it glitches back to the default (all my data is gone it’s just blank). I tried just changing the picture and it didn’t work. I went to settings and changed my picture there and it still didn’t work. Please help me.
