My Macbook Pro shuts down halfway thru the boot...

I cannot start my MacbookPro. It shuts down half way thru the  boot process ( startup).

Try an SMC reset:

Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support

Try booting into Recovery Mode and run Disk Utility > First Aid on your hard drive:
