iPhone 6 (iOS 10.1.1) music

When I try to listen to a playlist on my iPhone 6 (iOS 10.1.1), the first song will keep repeating over and over. It doesn't advance to the next song on the playlist. There are no tabs or buttons to shuffle or play entire playlist. I didn't have this issue on an earlier iOS version.

None of the responses Apple Community regarding this issue seem to work.

I don't have this issue when I play the same playlist on iTunes.

Found it!

1. Open music

2. Select album / playlist or whatever

3. Small image on bottom left hand corner - click on that.

4. Scroll to bottom.

5 . "Up next". There it is that pesky wee repeat symbol on the right hand side!

I don't have a small image on bottom left hand corner.  On the bottom RIGHT there is an image with 3 white dots in a red circle.  When I tap that, the only options it gives me are:

remove

add to playlist

play next

love

dislike

nothing about repeating

Guess I'll go to the dreaded mall and get a genius to fix it or not.....

Does this appear after you have clicked on the Bar displaying the music you are currently playing?

I had to look for that option. Basically you need actually be in the "window" or tab that displays what song you are currently playing. It will have a large image of the album cover, music progress bar, back, pause and forward and a volume bar. Then you need to scroll up a bit, direct below the 3 red dots in bottom right hand corner, in the same line as " up next" there are the options to shuffle and repeat.  Hope this helps.

I have tried all of the above responses and still only have the options to "Shuffle" or "Repeat". I want neither; i want to play the entire Playlist in the order that I have set up. I see this as an issue that Apple needs to debug in iTunes.

We have this same, odd bug.  Tried everything.  Odd thing is on my iphone the same synced playlist has the no-repeat play option.  My wifes iphone does not have the option.  Its missing.
